Brittney & Joseph | Dyment's Glen Drummond Farm, Dundas Wedding

Much like the Season 4 Love is Blind Live Reunion… this post is a little late, but was worth the wait.

Brittney and Joe have one of the most unique meet cute stories I’ve ever heard… and after 8 years photographing weddings, I’ve heard my fair share!

It was summer of 2017 and Brittney had just called a friend of hers to chat. With this friend was Joe. Brittney could hear him talking in the background and cracking jokes. After the phone call had ended she asked her friend verbatim “Who was that guy talking in the background? He sounded hot”. Soon after, these two connected via Snapchat. Joe was living in Calgary at the time, and Brittney in Ontario. With distance playing a role, these two spent the next few months getting to know each other virtually. Later that year they finally had a chance to meet face-to-face and the rest was history.

If there was an award for “not sweating the small stuff” Brittney and Joe would win, hands down. Between a global pandemic forcing this couple to postpone their original wedding date, to not 1, not 2, but 3 wedding dresses. It is safe to say these two know how to roll with the punches. Once their wedding day had finally arrived, it was perfect. On a sunny day in June Brittney and Joe finally said their I do’s! Their marriage ceremony took place at Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm. Following the ceremony their reception held in the barn on site.

Hopping outside for a quick 10 minute evening portrait session is always a good idea.

Pro tip: Plan for this portrait session to be captured in between dinner courses to ensure you are not missing anything inside your reception space when you step out.
